Mighty Magical Mountain

Early one morning
The Mountain still alive with color, green velvet, golden orange,
fire red, soft blue, and bold brown
Trees were standing, still dressed, proudly protecting,
the feathered and furry creatures, making up their winter homes
The mist sat heavy, on top of the peaks,
below my feet was the crispy, crunchy sound from the bite of Jack Frost
The land looked weathered, but somehow fresh and alive at the same time
A firm chilled wind entered the enchantment,
as the leaves danced in a magical swirl
All of nature seemed to stop and watch, the chipmunks gazed at the
performance,
waiting for it to stop, before continuing on to their little chores
The sky opened, and parted for it's bright glory, to shine on all
The dancing leaves, slowly floated to the earth, and softly into the lake
As the ducks waited for their morning meal of my bread,
a beauty of a horse trotted up to greet me, tipping his head and nudging my arm
The apples, carrots and sugar supply depleated,by this mighty Chestnut, with the thick flowing mane, waited for his hug, and trotted off for another
adventure.
The ducks were skimming through the silver sparkle, as the ripples
gently met the shore, beavers slapping their tails, happily building their
dam
What a Blessing to be a part of this.....for I have been with Nature
Where none are afraid of me, nor turn me away
I for a time there on the Mighty Magical Mountain
felt whole.

You Have No Idea

You have no idea
what is in my head
what is in my heart

You have no idea
What I can do in my mind
What I can do in my dreams

You have no idea
What I what I hope for
What I pray for

To You I Was
Always happy because I hid the pain
Always ok because I laughed
Always the care taker because it was expected
To you I was
A mother, a cook, a maid,
just a handy crying thing

Now I am
the invisable, the useless, the lazy, the burden
no longer a mother, a woman, a person
And I am now, no longer
yours.

I Told You

I told you today
I told you today, as I have a thousand times before,
I am so sad
You looked right through me
I told you today, about the love that was in my heart,
You never blinked an eye
I asked you what happened to "us",
As usual you were silent
I told you about my world inside the pain,
You never even moved
I told you I was tired and needed your understanding,
You walked away
I asked if you had even heard me,
you ate your dinner
I begged to know what you were thinking,
You turned on the TV
I told you I wanted to die,
You said Good Night
